QUESTION ABOUT MUSIC IN THE MIND MOVIE
« on: May 17, 2019, 03:36:04 PM »
HALLO GENIUSES!

I will be attending the Mexico Advanced Program in a few weeks and I have a question regarding the music I want to use in my mind movie.

The song that first popped into my head to use as the mind movie’s soundtrack is I WISH by Stevie Wonder.  It really energizes me!  However, the lyrics sing about reminiscing childhood and the movie’s intention is to bring the FUTURE to me now and not anything about the past.

I’d love to receive feedback or guidance from those of you who have completed your mind movie and how you chose your music.

Thanks so much!  Much Gratitude and Loving
Tina

It is recommended, by Dr Joe and MM, to have instrumental(no distracting words)  music you have no associative memories for (no tangent thoughts leading you astray)

If you have the MM app I always choose one from the ambient category, stuff I have never heard before and strikes, the right tone without being overly aggressive.

I used Pat Benatar's song "Fired Up," which just mirrored the idea of manifesting and had a cool beat. So essentially a song that allows for those good emotions to really stir you! Ultimately, the song that intuitively calls, no strings attached. E.S.

Some of the lyrics:
"Livin' with my eyes closed, goin' day to day
I never knew the difference, I never cared either way
Lookin' for a reason, searchin' for a sign
Reachin' out with both hands, I gotta feel the kick inside
All fired up (now I believe there comes a time)
All fired up (when everything just falls in line)
All fired up (we live an' learn from our mistakes)
The deepest cuts are healed by faith."
